In order to upload videos longer than 10 minutes, you must speak with the manager of your Twitter account [applicable only to business accounts]. You are only permitted to upload videos that are up to 1GB in size. Reduce the resolution and/or bitrate for files larger than 1GB.
How to Upload a Long Video on Twitter using a Media Service
If you want to upload a video to Twitter normally, you must follow these instructions:
❖ Go to settings on the Twitter website, then select Twitter Ads.
❖ This will direct you to the page for campaigns.
❖ Make sure to disable any ad blockers before moving on to the next step. Otherwise, the page will come up blank. This appears to be a bug in their website’s section for Twitter ads.
❖ Select Media after clicking on Creatives.
❖ For YouTube, I must first upload the video and then wait for it to be processed. Once that is complete, I can add a title description.
❖ In addition, I must upload a longer video to my Twitter account, which is free. After I have finished setting up my video, I must click the V-Tweet button to post my tweet as a video with a maximum runtime of 10 minutes.
